It was an awesome experience! Jeremie was such a kind, passionate, and knowledgeable guide. He made sure to answer all or questions and share more about his passion for his community. I love being part of and supporting local community initiatives that give a platform for marginalized people to tell their stories, and this tour does it in a way that is inspiring and appreciative of the art. There are some very talented people in Kibra and I would recommend this tour to anyone in Nairobi looking to experience Kibra through art and personal stories of the community members. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to participate!

We loved the whole experience. The level of detail provided by the Travelling Wakilli was superb! Super knowledgeable driver, lovely accomodation, and we were pleased with all the details inbetween. Thank you!

I haven’t traveled a lot before, let alone solo but Wakili made my trip so seamless. Everything I hoped to experience was met with detail and her availability throughout my trip made the activities easy no navigate. I can’t wait to book more trips with her. Absolutely amazing experience ^^,

Words are insufficient to express the incredible experience we had planning our trip with Njeri! She went over and above anything we ever expected from a travel agent, and helped us to create a trip that was beyond our wildest expectations. As an LGBT couple we were anxious about planning our trip to Kenya by ourselves. Njeri connected us with fantastic providers, and everyone she suggested was kind, caring and professional. We felt safe and supported during our entire trip, from accommodations, to excursions. Her recommendations were thoughtful, personalized and exceptional. Moreover, Njeri went beyond simply helping us select amazing experiences she came along with us for our adventures and handled everything! She even spent her birthday with us on safari and hot air ballooning in Masai Mara (magical). She joined us for our tour of the Karunguru Coffee Estate, and brought me along to experience the queer night-life in Nairobi and to see fantastic local LGBT artists! We are incredibly grateful for the time, care and attention we received, and would 1000% recommend The Travelling Wakili to anyone thinking about exploring the beautiful country of Kenya!
