This tour was a delightful experience. Everything was as it should be...hotels were first rate, experiences were top notch, Stephen was a wonderful guide who made each day very special.

Stephen McPhilemy’s True North Tour was all we had hoped for and more. Being Irish, he knows Ireland in and out—the tour was full of cultural insights and history. He is a gracious host, a knowledgeable guide, and a true storyteller. The group was small and the van was nice and roomy.

We couldn’t be happier and thoroughly enjoyed our tour! This was our first time in Ireland and having Stephen as our tour guide made it an exceptional and memorable trip for our family. Stephen provided us with so much helpful information and history, entertained us with stories and songs, and great recommendations for our stay in each city we visited. We truly believe our experience wouldn't be anywhere as great as it was without him as our guide, and now also a friend.

We are so happy we decided to go with Essential Ireland Tours for our Ireland adventure. We had a great group of nine on the July 15 tour of the Wild Atlantic Way. Stephen is a fantastic guide and we learned so much about Ireland's history and culture that you're not going to get out of a guidebook. Getting to spend three nights in Dingle with the wonderful hospitality at Milltown House is something we'll never forget. Thank you Stephen and your team at Essential Ireland Tours for one of the best vacations we've ever had! Daryn and Kristi McCulley

We had a fantastic time on the Wild Atlantic Way tour with Stephen as our guide. His history background and his love of his country really shined throughout the tour. We enjoyed having a small group of 9, with Stephen's friendly brother Chris as our driver of the comfortable little bus. We loved all the quaint towns, stops and little adventures along the way. We are so glad we chose this tour, and highly recommend it to others.
