About this trip

The Winter Solstice Yin & Sound Bath.  (4.30 pm to 6pm) Dec 17th

This December 17 celebrate winter solstice with an hour and a half of blissful gentle movement and sound.

Join Devon and Erin the amazing collaboration event!

Yin Yoga: Yin yoga is designed to calm the nervous system and help you to relax through a series of postures that are held for longer periods of time (about 2-4 minutes each). These yoga poses are down regulating in nature and fairly simple for the beginner or novice; often we don't even leave the ground.

You will need :

Yoga mat

Water bottle

a blanket and socks for savasana tip: dress in layers

Sound Bath: Sound therapy is an experience that utilizes sacred instruments, rhythms and vocal toning, creating sonic vibrations. The experience is said to synchronize brain wave frequencies and in so doing, create inner peace and can help lower stress levels, improve sleep and improve moods. Sound therapy can help you clear energetic blockages and thus facilitate healing on a physical and mental level.

For the first 45 minutes expect some gentle yin movement on the mat lead by  Erin. The next 45 minutes will be set to the soothing sounds of Devon's bowls.

Float away into your week feeling completely relaxed and ready to enjoy the holidays, and welcome the winter solstice with us.

The first time I met Erin and she was holding a retreat for yin yoga and grief, I knew I had to go. Erin made the experience so safe and comfortable and I was really able to celebrate me and being there for Day of The Dead. Erin provided a top notch ellegent and rejuvenating retreat. I made some lifelong friends. I would definitely come back again to do another Radiant Renewel Retreat with Erin. I still feel so recharged, it was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much Erin for this gift.

I thoroughly enjoyed, both parts. Instructors were knowledgable and made for a relaxing atmosphere. It was a huge stress relief for me and I will do it again!

I will definitely attend next year and hopefully bring some friends because I know how much this investment I made in myself will help me move forward with my grief...

I just finished my Radiant Renewal Retreat with Erin Burden in Puerto Morales, Mexico at the amazing Casa Om yoga retreat center! Everything about this retreat and my stay was exceptional — from the top notch location, staff, service, and food (OMG, the yummy food!!) to the incredible workshops, activities, and Yin yoga! I have had so many losses in my life (too many to count) and I know my Higher Power led me to this retreat to process my grief in a way that I never had — not in therapy, my recovery, or even with my family. Erin was not only a well trained yoga instructor but she held space for us, making us feel welcomed (from the moment we arrived), safe, loved, and never judged. I allowed myself to feel so many emotions that I had pushed down or away for such a long time. We shared heartfelt memories, pain, and even celebrated our loved ones in so many different ways. I experienced healing rituals I had never tried before and know that I will be incorporating them into my life. Thank you Erin for helping me make new friends, deeply heal, and to even be able to sit on my toes!!! I will be telling everyone @ this experience for years to come! And hope to come back again. From the bottom of my heart…. ❤️
