May 2, 2025 Day 2:

Catamaran Tour with Lunch

Spend a day sailing on a private cater, sunbathing, and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, have a relaxing float in the Pacific, or enjoy tropical libations on the catamaran. The crew is at

your service every step of the way, hoisting sails, making drinks, and preparing fresh guacamole and pico de gallo on board.

Beverages will be offered on the boat along with Local snacks, fruits, and rum. 

Get ready for a night out on the town! Dress up and prepare to explore downtown after dark, hitting up the local bars to unwind and let loose.

May 3, 2025 Day 3:

Relax in the Hot Springs and waterfalls & Enjoy a Delicious Lunch tour

The mineral-rich thermal waters of hot springs have rejuvenating and therapeutic properties that have been appreciated for centuries by people around the world. When you visit Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin and Rincon de la Vieja, you can experience the incredible hot springs of Rio Negro.

Beautiful and relaxing, the volcanic hot springs at Hacienda Guachipelin bubble up on the Rio Negro, naturally heated by the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, the largest and most active volcano in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Surrounded by a dense dry tropical forest, the Termales de Rio Negro is a beautiful and peaceful place. The crystal clear waters of the river flow near the 10 pools built on the riverbank and fill them with thermal waters rich with minerals, naturally heated in the depths of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. You can access pools on both banks of the river thanks to two suspension bridges.

You can use the hot volcanic mud as a spa-like treatment for your entire body. When the mud dries, you can wash it in the cold waters of the river before entering the thermal water pools again.

TURTLE WATCHING

A nocturnal adventure provides the rare opportunity to visit nesting of the nesting grounds of the

“Tortugas Negras”. Watch and learn how the turtles lay eggs and return to the sea.

May 4, 2025 Day 4:

RELAXATION and FREE DAY. Farm to Table Goodbye dinner.

The hotel strives to only use ingredients produced with a low carbon footprint. Thus, we frequently adapt our menus and use, whenever possible, ingredients grown or produced in Costa Rica. 

Most of the ingredients we use daily are grown in the hotel's own organic vegetable and herb farm. 

At all times, we avoid using processed ingredients. 

We can accommodate your diet - Vegan, Vegetarian, and or Pescatarian.

Our hotel is conveniently located less than 25 minutes from Tamarindo Airport. We are close to the downtown area, where you’ll find local restaurants, bars, and shops for souvenirs. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and we also offer a shuttle service to take you to the downtown area.
