Our beautiful home is The Avenue, a historic icon in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Built-in 1886, this Queen Ann-style Victorian Mansion is one of the most unique, and exclusive private luxury lodging facilities in Colorado. Peer up the 3 story winding staircase, and take in the grandeur of this majestic piece of architectural history. There is so much to see and do in and around Manitou Springs you can extend your trip by a day or two and hike the Manitou incline if you dare ( 2,000 feet vertical feet).

 We will be offering an optional Sunday evening trip to the Manitou Mineral Springs, where we will soak in the cedar tubs with stunning views of the mountain and enjoy the full moon rising.  The land upon which Manitou Springs was founded had long been a sacred cultural crossroads for the Anasazi, Kiowa, Cheyenne, Ute, and Arapaho people. They gathered here near the mineral springs, whose natural carbonation they called The Breath of The Great Spirit.

This is a guide to help you get the most out of your retreat experience: 

1. Headphones 

2. Comfortable, loose clothes such as yoga pants, and sweats 

3. Warm clothing such as gloves, scarfs, and a coat for our unexpected Colorado weather

4. Spotify or Pandora for listening to psychedelic soundtracks

5. Walking shoes or sneakers

6. Bathing suit

7. Optional yoga mat ( we will provide some yoga mats)

8. Special item for intention setting such as a photo, crystal, or figurine

9. Flip Flops if you are going to the hot springs

Kindly note that reservations canceled by guests are non-refundable. As our retreats have limited rooms and slots due to their intimate boutique nature, we are unable to provide refunds. Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants, and we recommend Wetravel (this site) for its affordable coverage ( link provided when you purchase your package). You can conveniently purchase travel insurance when making your reservation or opt for a different provider of your choice. Please be aware that cancellations will not be eligible for any refunds.

Heather is one of the US’s first Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapists. Heather has been a women's  wellness coach/ psychospiritual therapist and woman’s retreat leader for over thirty years. She is the Founder and Director of Medicine Woman Retreats and uses her depth of understanding and expertise in the soul and science of psychedelics to create magical and meaningful women's retreats internationally

Heather is passionate about plant medicine as a powerful path for connecting with inner wisdom and greater mind/body/spirit wellness. Her own cancer journey has deepened her personal connection to psilocybin as a medicine for the soul. She has experienced firsthand the ability of psychedelic medicine to illuminate the connection between thoughts, emotions, and physical dis-ease.

Monica Ramunda, MA LPC, LCMHC has been in the mental health field for over 30 years and in private practice for the last 23 years. She is the owner and founder of Rocky Mountain Counseling Services and Lighthouse Counseling Services. She is a trained  Ketamine Assisted Therapist with Fluence and one of the First Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapists trained through IPI. 

 Monica's passions include transforming people’s lives with the assistance of psychedelics. She is a lifelong learner, hoping to inspire other women to find their passion and happiness during their 40s and beyond.  Monica Ramunda finds inspiration from nature, animals, and travel. She is inspired by Grandma Moses ( who shares her same birthday), who began painting at age 78 and was voted “Young Woman of the Year” at age 88. She hopes to follow in her footsteps. 

Monica was a tour guide in South America for over a year, leading tours in Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. Monica had the honor of leading guests to sacred sites such as the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu, the Amazon rainforest, and famous Lake Titicaca, and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. She experienced the beautiful traditions of the indigenous people of Peru, witnessed their ceremonies, and experienced the time-honored traditions of the native indigenous tribes. Monica has a particular love of Peru and the Quechua people and culture. She is now bringing her background as a tour guide and experience witnessing native traditions and rituals to her retreats. Monica’s passion for travel and love of native traditions, as well as her therapy background, helping people gain insight and breakthroughs in their lives, have come together in her retreats, with the assistance of psychedelics. 

Through Monica’s own journey into middle age, she has found inspiration, a wealth of knowledge and inner wisdom, and contentment. She has found new meaning as her children have transitioned into adulthood and a chance to fully enjoy this time of renaissance in her life.  

Understanding Room Choice and Pricing

All our rooms:  All-inclusive, with gourmet meals, one chef-prepared meal, a psychedelic experience, all pre and post-integrative work, as well as two follow-up integration sessions. 

We have 3 rooms that can be shared with other incredible retreat women as a double. You can share with a friend and each takes $150 off with Code: SisterLove.  The rooms that can be shared are: 

1. Manitou Luxury Suite:  ( largest room) with 2 rooms attached, French doors that open up to couch, fireplace, additional seating/work area. This room would best be shared by close friends willing to share a large King bed. Private bathroom.

2. Cannon Suite: offers the best views in the house. This room can be single or shared with one person in the main room with the king bed and the other person in the nursery room with a twin-day bed. The pricing will be split up accordingly. Private bathroom. 

3. Pawnee Room:  Large bright room with views of the park, attached room with a twin daybed, and a trundle which offers two twin beds.  Private bathroom.
