A great combo to explore a beautiful part of the countryside: riding on jungle and riverside trails to the Majestic El Castillo at Xunantunich. You get to ride approx 1.5hrs each way and spend 1 - 2hrs at the site) depending on your schedule, after this you ride back to the stable. You are free to take photos or as the guide to take photos of you/your party. this tour takes approx 4 -5 hours from the moment your guide meets you at your hotel/accommodation.

ATTIRE recommended: comfortable long pants & footwear fit for riding, walking & climbing
ALL RIDERS need to mount and dismount with very little assistance
MINIMUM OF 2PPL PER TOUR, single travellers can join shared tour, once there is a shared tour they can join.
What to expect - Xunantunich riding tour
Upon reservation we receive: Your booking date & type of tour
DETAILS you will need to provide us with: NAME of hotel in town, age, weight, height, riding experience (first time, novice, some experience, etc.)
what to expect: our guide will meet you at the reception are of your hotel/resort/accommodation IN San Ignacio TOWN, birefed on your tour booked, you will then be brought to out St Leonard's Stable, prepped with riding helmets, disclaimer, instructions on how to handle your horse, how to mount and what to expect for the day's weather. You are free to let your guide/wrangler know how you feel, any questions/concerns. Cold waters are provided, entrance fees are paid and you will get a complimentary tour at site,
If you hotel is out of town and you do not have a rental to meet us in town (the CAYO WELCOME CENTER), we will add an extra fee depending in distance outside of town
NB: some hotels outside of town are: Mystic River, Blancaneaux, GAIA, Sweet Songs, Black Rock Lodge, Mahogany Hall, we will do our best to let you know if your hotel is outside of town)

- Cancellation policy3 days before tour date, only $ 15 US is due for shared tour or $30 US due for private tour. Cancelling anytime one day before tour date, FULL price of tour is due for shared/private
What’s not included
- outside San Ignacio townpickups & drop offs to: Sweet Songs, Chaa Creek, Mystic River, Table Rock, Vanilla Hills, Mahogany Hall will have an additional minimal fee (you will be informed of amount before payment is made)

NOT INCLUDED: pickup & drop offs to GAIA, Hidden Valley, Blancaneaux, Mariposa, Macaw Bank,
Mystic River, Black Rock, Belize City, Stann Creek, San Pedro or any other island
we'll let you if your resort/hotel is within an area which has an extra fee.

Itinerary
7:30 am your guide will meet you at reception are of your accommodation in town
(OR earlier if you are out of town & as agreed on email, or after reservation is made and location of your accommodation is verified)
7:45am - 8am arrival at St Leonard's Stable & prepped for tour
9:30am arrival at horse are, Xunantunich, bathroom break
9:45-11:30am Xunan tour
11:30am bathroom stop and back on the horse to ride back to St Leonard's Stablle
1:pm back at ST Leonard's stable for drive back to town.
(time may be subject to change depending on your pace, riders in your party, any unforeseen delays at Xunantunich ferry, etc.,)
