About this trip

We have been hosting this retreat for many years and it just keeps getting better and better. The demand is high for a safe, planned, and well orchestrated adventure...and this is it.  2022 sold out in record time, if you are interested in this retreat we encourage you to reach out with any questions and to sign up early.


ALL ARE WELCOME.  This is not a women's only retreat and you do not have to have to have an advanced yoga practice.  Students of all levels are welcome.


Jenny Kaufman & Patti Lupo are offering this retreat for the 9th time - because we LOVE it and we know you will too.   Stimulate the senses and soothe the soul in the ambiance of a country retreat in the hills of Umbria, Italy at the beautiful setting of Locanda Delia Quercia Calante, located equidistant between Rome and Florence in the Umbria countryside.  Described as  "eco-friendly country retreat encompassing a culture that adheres to the values required for well-being of the body and spirit" -- put simply it is heaven on earth.  Two day trips are included in this retreat so you will be visiting some of the local villages and towns and not just on property for the 5 days.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Please  note: a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 is needed to secure your spot  and sign up.   We can set up a payment plan for the remainder of the balance should you wish, but all payments in full are due by Monday June 5th, 2023.


In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your trip, you will  only be refunded the cost of your trip (less the non-refundable deposit)  should you cancel PRIOR to June 5, 2023.  Any cancellation AFTER June 5, 2023 will only be issued a refund if we sell your spot on the retreat. This includes illnesses (including Covid and any Covid related symptoms or complications), emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.  
 

Travel insurance is recommended. A travel insurance policy including  trip cancellation and interruption, baggage, accident, emergency  assistance and medical assistance.  We strongly encourage you to protect yourself and buy travel insurance.

It was an amazing trip to really settle into a new yoga community and countryside. Sharing practices, meals, wine, travel. And, was attainable for all who attended. Jenny and Patti have such a warm and confident way to read the room and include all throughout the practice so that everyone felt empowered by the end. And, it wasn't really complicated or too far reaching. As a "somewhat seasoned" yogi, I learned so much in not only poses, but cueing, style, approach, fitness (mind/body). I loved the variety of activities (wine tasting, painting, pasta making, day trips) that were oriented to our yogi mind (mind, body, soul). And, the schedule was just enough to keep you busy, and not make you feel like you were always on the go. It was truly a retreat.

Jenny and Patti are fantastic! The resort felt like a fairy tale. The food was delicious. The scheduling and day excursions were well thought out and executed seamlessly. It's evident that Jenny and Patti have cultivated a lot of connections in Italy and share their love for the area with their retreat attendees! I would highly recommend.

This was such a unique and unforgettable experience! Patti and Jenny have worked out all the details of the workshop and their planning really pays off in the quality of the classes, the offsite trips and the extracurricular activities. Everything from preparatory emails, getting to and from La Locanda, the wine tasting event and day trips are geared so that each person can participate without felling pressured to have to "do" anything. The classes were wonderful, well-paced and challenging, with just the right amount of downtime between each yoga session. The food was also excellent and the staff accommodates all dietary preferences. The accommodations are comfortable, if a bit spartan. Just remember, this is a working farm, and the setting in the Umbrian countryside is spectacular and very quiet. If you're considering doing this, don't wait--sign up for next year today!
