Porto Rotondo is a true slice of paradise, with stunning beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and a Caribbean-like atmosphere. It's a popular summer destination, perfect for spending days soaking up the sun and enjoying the dreamlike scenery. Snorkeling and other water activities can be arranged for an additional fee. The area offers numerous beaches, each with its own charm, and it's worth exploring them all for a refreshing swim in their pristine waters.
Time to treat yourself to a retreat of transformative yoga, pranayama, yoga nidra, yin and meditation.
Airport and traveling to retreat
The nearest airport to the Villa is Alghero (20 minute drive). If you choose to rent a car you can drive straight to the retreat villa. A taxi or Uber is easy accessible. We can also arrange some carpooling taxis if people arrive around the same time. Arrival is 3 PM. Our first session will be Yoga around 4:30 PM and dinner will be served around 6 PM, followed by a welcome circle in the evening.
Departure will be by 10 AM September 27th.
It is not necessary to rent a car. There are many beautiful beaches within walking distance. But renting a car will give people the opportunity to explore far and wide. Day trips can be arranged.

The villa enjoys a prime location in Porto Rotondo, just minutes away from stunning beaches. It's only 10 minutes away from the famous Piazzetta di Porto Rotondo. Olbia airport is a 20-minute drive away, and essential services like supermarkets, bars, and pharmacies are also close by.

A renowned beach in the area is Spiaggia Marinella, one of the largest and most scenic in Porto Rotondo. Located between Porto Rotondo and Golfo Aranci, it stretches for about 800 meters. Despite being surrounded by hotels and apartments, Marinella has remained unspoiled, with typical Mediterranean vegetation and numerous paths leading to the beach. The fine sand and shallow, sandy waters make it perfect for families with children who love to play in the sand. Sheltered from the wind, it's an ideal spot to spend a relaxing day, whether alone or with company.
Cala Sabina is a beautiful beach made up of two small coves, separated by lush Mediterranean vegetation. The crystal-clear, turquoise waters are breathtaking, making it a must-see spot. Unlike other beaches in the area, it’s often less crowded, offering a peaceful experience in nature. The beach is well-equipped with a snack bar and facilities, and the surrounding greenery provides shady spots for relaxation. Cala Sabina is one of the most stunning beaches in the region, and it’s definitely worth a visit!
Spiaggia dei Sassi is situated on a strip of land that connects the Iscia Segada promontory to the Porto Rotondo area. Across the way, you can admire Spiaggia delle Alghe, both offering stunning views of the colorful azure, turquoise, and emerald waters of the coast. The beach gets its name from its unique shoreline, which consists of gray and pearly pebbles alongside fine sand. The pebbles are a distinctive feature of this enchanting beach, further enhanced by a majestic cliff that provides shelter from the wind, resulting in calm waters. Additionally, a vibrant Mediterranean scrub surrounds the area, creating various shaded spots that offer a perfect retreat from the sun.
Located within the Gulf of Cugnana, Spiaggia Ira is one of the few remaining free beaches in Sardinia, tucked between private beach areas. Named after Princess Ira von Fürstenberg, an actress and designer who loved spending her holidays in Porto Rotondo and owned a villa there, this beach is one of the most popular spots in the area.

Spiaggia Punta Nuraghe stretches for about 80 meters and overlooks the Gulf of Cugnana, making it one of the most popular free beaches in Porto Rotondo. Despite its small size, it is well-equipped, offering parking just a few meters from the beach, along with rentals for sun loungers, umbrellas, and canoes for exploring the coastline.
The sand here is not as fine as that of nearby beaches, featuring an unusual gray-ochre color.
Spiaggia Hruska is located just 1 km from the center of Porto Rotondo.
This small stretch of coastline features several bays, each with crystal-clear turquoise water, light sand, and pebbles. It’s easy to navigate, making it perfect for long walks, even barefoot. Spiaggia Hruska is unspoiled, offering beautiful natural scenery and free access. Additionally, there is ample parking just 300 meters away.
Spiaggia di Bassey is located on the western side of the Iscia Segada promontory, nestled among the rocks of Punta di Volpe, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. This small bay is embraced by typical Mediterranean vegetation, featuring fine, white sand and clean, crystal-clear turquoise waters. The beach is named after the famous British pop singer Shirley Bassey, who loved spending her holidays in Porto Rotondo during the early 20th century.

Located in Iscia Segada, a district of Porto Rotondo, Spiaggia delle Alghe gets its name from the seagrass (posidonia) washed ashore, forming dunes and banks. Their vineyards span 10 hectares in the northeastern part of Sardinia. The estate is located in Gallura, in the northeastern corner of the island, just a short distance from the center of Arzachena. The power place Capo Testa can be reached in 10 minutes from Santa Teresa.
