Retreat to the remote coast of northern Nicaragua for 6 nights and 7 days of complete restoration for your mind, body and spirit. Located at Still Salty Escape, where ocean views and a serene environment offer the perfect setting to connect and reset.
Each morning before breakfast, Erin (500 RYT) will guide you through thoughtful yoga classes in the open-air yoga Shala. With a view of the ocean in front of you and the jungle behind you, you’ll find this Shala is the perfect place to focus and deepen your practice. Classes will include meditation, pranayama (breathwork) and plenty of asana (physical practice), leaving you feeling strong and inspired. Each class will move us through the chakras (energy centers throughout the body), creating a deeper awareness of your physical and energetic form, and providing the tools for a more expansive connection to Self. When not in class, indulge in the peaceful offerings of the local environment and allow yourself to fully unwind. Some afternoons will be free to lounge by the beach or relax in a hammock while others have planned activities or additional workshops. On the last morning there will be the option for surf lessons (the waves are perfect for beginners), allowing you one final opportunity to connect with the magical and breathtaking ocean.
There are four cabanas where you will reside with a private pool right in the middle, all just steps away from the ocean. Each day, three nutritious, local, vegetarian meals are provided with the option of additional snacks in between. This retreat is designed to leave you feeling refreshed, inspired, and deeply connected with yourself and the environment that surrounds you. Throughout the retreat, Erin will be available to answer any questions and ensure you have the best experience possible. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, there is space for you to undergo a transformative experience.
Erin’s yoga journey began when she was 24 and about to graduate from the Kansas City Art Institute. This newfound practice showed her how to slow down and gave her the tools to live a life of purpose and intention. Yoga has profoundly impacted her life on and off the mat: from learning how to develop self trust, move through uncomfortable situations, and most importantly, how to deeply enjoy this time spent in her mind and body.
Erin completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training in 2022 at True Love Yoga in Kansas City, MO with Lauren Leduc and her 300 Hour Teacher Training in 2023 with Kayla Nielson and Jess Mackinzie in El Viejo, Nicaragua. In her classes you can expect a fun and lively Vinyasa flow with a balance of challenge and release. Her drive as a teacher is to encourage students to find joy, play and inspiration in their practice through creative movements and sequencing while creating a safe space for students to feel at home in their bodies.
