Photography weekend in the Yorkshire Dales - Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October 2024 including overnight stay and breakfast.
Join me for two days of landscape photography in the stunning Yorkshire Dales this March and enjoy an overnight stay at the famous Black Bull pub, Reeth.
We'll spend two days shooting landscape scenes in the Swaledale area and exploring this wonderful part of the UK.
The Yorkshire Dales offers many opportunities for landscape photography and we'll be staying right in the heart of Swaledale in the village of Reeth, perfectly positioned to make the most out of this wonderful area of the northern Dales. Panoramic views, ruined mines and dramatic waterfalls are all in close proximity.
We had a great time on our last trip in March 2024, you can see a blog by clickiing here
Transport is provided in my minibus from Yarm (local pick ups are available) or you can meet us on location in the dales. We'll be setting off early and shooting until sunset on day one before heading back to the hotel for a good nights sleep.
Accommodation is provded by the Black Bull Pub, a historic tavern in the centre of Reeth. Rooms are single occupancy and breakfast is included.
This is a traditional public house, dating back to the 1600s and full of charm. The location is fabulous and reviews are great.

On day 2 we will be up early to shoot sunrise at a nearby location before heading back to the Black Bull for a hearty breakfast. The remainder of the day will be spent behind the camera shooting waterfalls, meadows and the stunning views on offer in this glorious location.
The area that we will be visiting offers a huge range of photographic subjects to explore, from meandering rivers to beautiful valleys and quaint villages. We'll be heading specifically towards Swaledale for day one and will likely venture further west for day two. I like to keep my itinerary loose and flexible, which allows me to use my experience in selecting locations to shoot according to weather and light conditions.
This is an ideal opportunity to shoot stunning scenes and to experiment with camera settings to achieve the most desirable results. I'll be on hand to offer help as often as you need it, while encouraging you to create your own style of images.
My workshops are a great way to spend quality time in the landscape with like minded people who enjoy the photographic process.
