About this trip

AN INNER WORK SPACE IN THE BERNESE OBERLAND

Indulge in body and mind with twice daily asana and meditation, pranayama, chanting, guided relaxation, restorative/yin, yoga nidra and more.

All levels are welcome on this mind expanding retreat filled with gorgeous scenery, beautiful vegetarian meals, on-site sauna and outdoor endeavors for all. Feel free to sit by the fireplace, in the quiet garden, on the private terrace or walk barefoot outside.
The retreat takes place in the beautiful Lenk Lodge, slightly elevated on the edge of the village of Lenk, at an altitude of almost 1,100 meters in the Simmental. Surrounded by the energizing Bernese Alps, this place offers the ideal backdrop to explore the true nature of body, mind and heart.

In summer the Simmental is considered a valley of water. There are crystal clear mountain lakes, swirling streams and impressive waterfalls to discover. The cool water is also a welcome refreshment when hiking, biking or trail running.

The many small farms with their Alps shape the landscape and traditions of the Simmental. The animals' bells ring from far away in the valley and give the summer its very own acoustics. The crowning glory is the Alpine cheese, which reminds you of the ringing of bells at breakfast even well into winter.

THE SPACE

The lodge is a contemporary designed feel-good place for guests who value and live authenticity. In 2013, its owners made a dream come true: an idiosyncratic, pretty lodge with respect for the colorful history of the property. Their goal is to combine life and work in the rural mountain village, whose resources they want to maintain, promote and carefully use. Wherever possible, the original elements are gently brought out or emphasized. The dominant wooden staircase over three floors and the spruce strip floors form the rustic heart of the house. Refreshingly real – this is how the lodge welcomes and pampers its guests. The atmosphere is uncomplicated and familiar and at the same time professional.

End your day with a. book from the library out on the private terrace or take advantage of your personal meditation cushion in your room

Welcome! I am a traveling yoga instructor throughout Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire. I host local and international yoga retreats focusing on soul balance and personal transformation. My endearment for the sea, salt air and wave play is the basis of all retreats I offer. The healing benefits are indescribable and recalibrate us into our natural element. I am dedicated to guiding and supporting practitioners of all levels into the depths of their practice by emphasizing personal empowerment and encouraging strength.

Reviews

This was my first retreat and I absolutely loved it! The accommodations were fabulous along with the views. The best part were the people I met and just the whole experience in general. It was just what I needed in mind, spirit and body! Looking forward to my next retreat with Jocelyn and Kacy!
