I had so much fun on this art retreat, soaking up the beauty and craftsmanship of Morocco. It was great to get to know everyone in our group as we toured the souks and artisan workshops and spent studio time learning ice dying and capturing inspiration in our travel journals. Maison 28 is a treasure with it's beautiful furnishings and multiple rooftop patios. The staff was so caring - they even created special dishes to accommodate my dietary restriction. Our expeditions to the coast and mountains gave us even more opportunities to explore the country and meet local artisans. Cooking class was so fun (and delicious!) Anna made it all so much fun - thank you for sharing Morocco with us.

Wow! This retreat, curated by Anna Joyce, was more incredible than I could have ever imagined. The variety of experiences, learning hand dyeing techniques, introductions to local artisans, tours of the souks, learning about the history and culture…it was an awe inspiring introduction to Morocco and the most hospitable people that call it home. Anna’s wit, boundless creativity and generous spirit made it extra special. Loved being a part of this small, intimate tribe of travelers!
