We had one free day in Kathmandu after an Annapurna Base Camp Trek. We really wanted to see Everest during our time in Nepal. We booked with Luxury Holidays Nepal and were completely satisfied with this incredible experience. The day started early at 5am and were promptly picked up. We had to wait a short time for the domestic airport to open and then were weighed while waiting for the helicopter. We flew to Lukla first, then to a point very close to Everest where we divided passengers for safety/altitude reasons. When it was our turn to fly on the segment to see Everest, it was very exciting! We had a wonderful pilot who told us what we were seeing all the while keeping us very safe with his expert skills. We continued on to breakfast at Everest View. We were given vouchers for this. The staff, service, food and view were simply magnificent. I think breakfast was 3-4 courses. We did wait a while for our helicopter, which was actually a nice surprise because there was no rush to leave. We flew back to Kathmandu, stopping in Lukla. This is really a must-do trip, without question worth the price. Seeing Everest for so many hours was an experience beyond words. The breakfast experience was amazing because it really helps you to slow down and take in all the scenery of these enormous and spectacular mountains. The communication and all interactions with the organizer, the drivers, pilots and staff were fantastic. We also lucked out with the weather and had a blue sky day with very few clouds.

From the initial booking over a year ago and the excellent email communications to the flawless organisation on our arrival and throughout our tour - I can not speak highly enough of Luxury Holidays Nepal. The whole experience was unforgettable, leaving us wanting to return to Nepal in the future. Our guides, Ram in Kathmandu and Pradip in Pokhara effortlessly saw to all our needs and requests - thank you for showing us your country and sharing your knowledge with us 🙏🏻

Trip met all our expectations. Even with a few hiccups regarding scheduling, the company showed its professionalism. We are two senior citizens (76yrs) and had no problem with the schedules nor the activities.

I had a fantastic time on the trip. Everything was very well planned out and it all exceeded expectations. The final night, I was taken on a dinner cultural experience by Kushal Baniya and really enjoyed the conversation and the evening. He told me that he had planned most of the trip, and I was extremely grateful for all the hard work that he did and the extra planning that he did to make everything go right. I would book with this company again and highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to have a fantastic time in Nepal.

We loved our Nepal and Bhutan trip with Luxury Holidays Nepal! From the beginning of Biren picking us up at the airport to Holy Himalaya Hotel (front desk staff Rijan and Pridap who helped us out with various requests), to Ram (funny and informative) who took us out on our first day in Kathmandu, took a flight to the Himalayas and got some great pictures of the Daddy of them all, Everest...Then flew to Pokhara and stayed at the beautiful Pokhara Grande with bell staff Subin and Prakash and wait staff Deb Raj taking care of us...Rajesh took us to the sunrise at Sarangkot (stunning) and around Pokhara....Onto Bhutan where Cheki and Chimi picked us up and drove us to Thimphu where we saw the Big Buddha and went to the Painting School and then went to Sangay Arts and Crafts where we bought things that were made at the school (Wangchuk and her aunt were very helpful)...Then Simply Bhutan for cultural dances, etc...Stayed at the beautiful Hotel Lobesa where proprietor Div Sharma catered to our dietary needs and brought out some wonderful Bhutanese wine which we drank on our balcony overlooking the lovely landscape...Back to Paro and saw the National Museum of Bhutan and stayed at the Hotel Olathang....Good food and nice wait staff....We did go to Tiger's Nest (as far as we could go physically) and Cheki and Chimi were willing to take us but we couldn't make it to the top...But it was breathtaking! They treated us like family and there were a few tears when we said goodbye...Altogether a most wonderful trip!!!
