About this trip

Rediscover the Lost Art of Initiation at the EVRYMAN Young Men's Rites of Passage Retreat

Join us for a transformative weekend at Sovereignty Ranch, February 7–9, 2025. In a world where the transition from boyhood to manhood has become blurred, this carefully designed retreat bridges the gap with purpose, depth, and connection. Hosted on 200+ acres of regenerative farmland, this experience reimagines ancient initiation traditions for the modern world.

Boys aged 12–15 and their mentors—fathers, uncles, grandfathers, or other guiding figures—embark on a journey of challenge, self-discovery, and growth. Led by seasoned guides, this retreat empowers participants to:

  • Cultivate inner tools to navigate life’s complexities with resilience and wisdom.
  • Forge lasting bonds with mentors and a supportive community.
  • Embrace physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual challenges to unlock their full potential.

This is not just an event—it’s a Rite of Passage.

A weekend of intentional challenges and breakthroughs designed to equip boys with strength, authenticity, and a new level of responsibility, while helping mentors embody healthy, vibrant masculinity.

EVRYMAN’s mission is to foster meaningful, connected lives. Through compassion, joy, and integrity, this retreat offers a space for families to build lasting memories and inspire lifelong growth. Together, let’s guide our boys toward healthy manhood—one courageous step at a time.

The EVRYMAN Open Source retreat was incredible. The event blew away my expectations and I walked away with so much more than I anticipated. The lodge facility was great and created the perfect backdrop for the weekend.

This was my third EVRYMAN retreat and, somehow, it keeps getting better. The team is beyond caring and strong; the 100 participants were smart, kind and open in a way the average man isn't these days... I cannot recommend EVRYMAN more. If there's a shred of curiosity in you, indulge in it, with them. Yes, they're that good (and I'm a lot better for it myself).

This experience was a fantastic opportunity for men of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs to come together and connect. The level of of empathy, compassion, and holding space for our fellow men was truly humbling. The personal growth from this event has been exponential. I left feeling worn out emotionally, mentally, and physically. For any man that feels lost, without purpose or direction, out of touch with their family, friends, or feelings, this experience is an absolute must do.
