Jan 2025 Grand Tour to the Historic North of Ethiopia :12 Days; 11 Nights My name is David Kallel. Me and my wife visited Ethiopia from January 28th to February 10th, 2025. We booked through Awaze Tours based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We enjoyed the tour and other activities in the northern regions and southern regions of Ethiopia. We visited Addis Ababa, Axum, Adwa, Lalibela, Bahir Dar, Gondar, Awassa and Yirgalem. The tour involved domestic air transportation as well as road transportation. We enjoyed the beauty, nature and culture of the rural Ethiopia through our road trips. We also tried the local foods especially Injera. The guides and drivers were very knowledgeable and flexible. They helped us in every moment of the tour. Finally, our special thanks go to Habte Fentaw, the Awaze Tours Operations Manager who did a great job for making our tour a memorable one!! Awaze is superb! This is one of the best trips of my life. Not all perfect but so much to recommend. Great guides! I loved having a new guide in each city. I loved the fresh perspective. All meals included. I hardly spent a dime beyond tips. Most of the hotel were great. And themthe spirit of the guides gave me the faith to do things I would have never thought possible. Climbing Abu Yemata, climbing the churches in Lalibela for Genna . So memorable. I highly recommend

I had a wonderful Journey throughout the Travel with Awaze and the driver Alem! The tribes of the south are absolutely interesting and really worth to be seen! Also the travel through the lakes with beautiful landscapes was really beautiful! Anyway I can warmly recommend Awaze!
