This is a Three Day tour to Jerusalem and Bethlehem from Amman or other points in Jordan visiting the main sites of this special city. It starts and ends in Amman or elsewhere in Jordan. It includes the Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, the Old City of Jerusalem with the Via Dolorosa, Church of Holy Sepulchre, Al Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock and Wailing Wall. It continues the next day to Bethlehem and the New City of Jerusalem, and on the third day takes you to the North to visit Nazareth and Galilee, before returning to Amman.

Amman, Bridge, Mount of Olives, Old City Tour
-Pick up from your door in Amman and transfer to King Hussein / Allenby Bridge Israeli Terminal. -Drive to the Mount of Olives for a wonderful view of Jerusalem. -Then go to the Pater Noster with the Lord's Prayer in different languages. -From the Mount of Olives the traditional Palm Sunday route takes you to the foot of the hill and sees the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees. -Enter the Old City through the Dung gate to visit the Wailing (or western) Wall and view the Haram Al Sharif with the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. -Walk the Via Dolorosa with its Stations of the Cross till you arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and buried, and then rose again. - Leave the city through the bazaars to the west by Jaffa Gate. - Drive through West Jerusalem to see the various landmarks.

Bethlehem, Shepherds Field and New City of Jerusalem
-Depart from your hotel to Bethlehem, crossing into the West Bank and stopping at the Separation Wall. -Then into Bethlehem to see the Church of Nativity.

-Onto the Shepherd's Fields in Beit Sahour. -A chance to visit a site such as Mahane Yehuda Market, Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum), note that museums can shut early on some days.

-Then drive through the New City of Jerusalem and visit the various landmarks.

Nazareth & Galile
-Depart from your hotel and drive North to Capernaum where you will see the Synagogue where Jesus taught and the other remains of this once prosperous town on the shores of the Sea of Galilee that became his adopted home. -You will visit the Mount of Beatitudes, scene of the famous Sermon on the Mount, and Tabgha, where the miracle of the feeding the 5000 is said to have happened. -Stop at the Church of the Primacy where Peter was told by Jesus that to continue his work, and try walking on water.

-Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood village of Jesus, now a bustling city. At the Church of the Annunciation you will see visitors from all corners of the world, and this is reflected in the décor of the modern building. -Finish tour and return to Amman via Allenby crossing.

We visited Jordan late April and Early May 2024. We made the decision to arrange the trip in October 2023 and as we wanted to visit a number of places I looked for a local tour guide. I contacted Jordanian Mappers with a request for an airport transfer to Petra, 2 half day trips to Wadi Rum and Dana, transfer back to Amman - 2 half day trips to Um Qais and Casa Amra, and then transfer from Amman to Airport. They replied with an agreed price and secure payment link for an initial deposit and then payment on arrival. A late change forced on us by BA cancelling our flights, meant that some rearrangements were requested and agreed to swiftly. All communications throughout the trip were always quick and answered efficiently. All the trips were started at pre arranged times when we were collected from the hotel - principally by Hisham. The car was clean, water and refreshments were provided and there was even wifi in the car. We were dropped off at the places we wanted to see where Hisham would either arrange a guide or we would wander. Hisham seems to know just about everyone in Jordan and maintains a healthy supply of Twix bars for customers and anyone he seems to see on the way. Hisham is also partial to any kind of Shwarma or cheese filled pastry. There were plenty of stops to take photos en route. Customers may find that the occasional rest stop is arranged at a convenient Bazaar, where you can peruse the local goods. Its not a problem, enjoy it and remember that this is helping the local business community and not multi national Companies. The local guide we met in Dana took us through a walk around the Village and into the Reserve itself, making us tea by a shady tree and feeding us facts about the wildlife diversity in the Reserve. This was all done at our walking pace and we were encouraged to stop and take photos. In Wadi Rum the guide Hossain did a great job driving us around the Desert in a 4 wheel drive. We visited numerous places on an agreed tour. Refreshments were arranged and local knowledge passed on about the area. We were always made to feel welcome and the tour exceeded all of our expectations. Trips started and ended on time and we never felt rushed. We found Jordan to be completely safe and always felt at ease, even though the Region is having issues at the moment. I would recommend Jordanian Mappers and their staff - in particular Hisham as he was our main guide - to anyone wanting to travel to Jordan.

The trip was so organized! I didn't have to bother doing/planning anything. The guides were also helpful and knowledgeable. This trip exceeded my expectations. I will rate them 10/10. I highly recommend Jordanian Mappers to travellers who wants to Explore this amazing country!

We used Jordanian Mappers for transportation from Amman to Wadi Mousa and the return to Amman airport. Driver, Alaadeen, was waiting for us right on time for pickup and was very safe. We made one stop both ways for drinks and toilet. The van was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend them for transportation, it was a great experience.
