Enjoy a trip to the Rose Red City of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in just half a day with a private local guide. Enter via the Siq, see the Treasury, the Theatre and view the Royal Tombs from the Street of Facades, then climb the 900 steps up to the Monastery, admiring the view and then descend back to the basin, where your tour finishes. This is a private tour to Petra which lasts about 4-5 hours with your own local guide. Once you enter the site at the main entrance you will walk (700m) past the Obelisk Tomb to the entrance of The Siq. Walk through the 1200m of the Siq to see the spectacular Treasury (El Khazneh) and then on down the Street of Facades passed the Nabatean Theatre to get a panoramic view of the Royal Tombs to the Basin. You will then climb up (approx. 900 steps) to see the Monastery (Ad Deir) which has a fabulous setting high up in the mountains from where you get great views. The guide will bring you back down from the Monastery to the Basin area where your tour will end so you explore more on your own and then walk back yourself to the main gate.
